About Me
Marco Greco is a filmmaker and freelance editor from Westchester, NY. Raised in an Italian household just outside New York City, he grew up immersed in a blend of American and Italian culture. Whether sketching comics about superhero frogs or filming zombie movies on his phone with friends, he was always drawn to visual storytelling. His dad introduced him to martial arts films from China, like Ip Man and Jackie Chan’s Police Story, which sparked a love for action-driven stories and later led him to discover Japanese anime. All influences that helped shape his creative voice.

He earned his BFA in Filmmaking from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, gaining hands-on experience across every side of production, including directing sets with up to 100 crew members. His short film Clocked-Out had a festival run across North Carolina and LA and was awarded the DGA Jury Award in New York. To Marco, storytelling is a way to share your values in a tangible form. It’s scary, exciting, and deeply fulfilling — and what he believes he was meant to do.

Marco now works as a freelance editor, specializing in narrative and commercial work. With five years of experience, he has developed a sharp sense of rhythm and a belief that editing should feel musical — the visuals are just another instrument. Currently, he is developing a sketch comedy show with friends he met in college and is eager to explore new ways to collaborate and create.
